02 — Why work with me

Clinical training, local understanding.

  • Licensed in Lebanon

A master's degree in Clinical Psychology and registration with Lebanon's Ministry of Health and the Lebanese Order of Psychologists. You can verify the registration directly.

  • Sessions in Arabic or English

You can speak in the language you think and feel in. Many clients switch between Arabic and English mid-sentence — that is welcome here.

  • Online, wherever you are in Lebanon

No traffic, no waiting room, no need to live in Beirut. Sessions run over a secure video call, which also suits Lebanese living abroad.

  • Evidence-based methods

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy — two of the most researched approaches for anxiety, low mood, stress and relationship difficulties.

  • Context you don't have to explain

Instability, financial pressure, family expectations, emigration and separation from loved ones are part of daily life in Lebanon. We can start from there.

  • Therapy and coaching under one roof

Alongside clinical work I coach founders and professionals, drawing on a business degree and over a decade in innovation and product.

FAQ

Finding a psychologist in Lebanon — your questions.

How do I know you are a licensed psychologist in Lebanon?
I hold a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and am licensed by Lebanon's Ministry of Health, registered with the Lebanese Order of Psychologists as member 10788. I am also licensed by the French Ministry of Health under ADELI number 10112060776. Both registrations are publicly verifiable — the links are above.
Do you see clients in person in Beirut?
Sessions are held online. That keeps therapy accessible whether you are in Beirut, Tripoli, the Bekaa, the south, or living outside Lebanon entirely.
Is online therapy as effective as meeting in person?
For most of the difficulties I treat — anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship problems — research shows online CBT works comparably to in-person sessions. What matters most is consistency and a good working relationship.
Which language will we speak?
English or Arabic , whichever you are most comfortable with. We can also mix, which many clients naturally do.
How long is a session, and how many will I need?
Sessions last 45 minutes. With CBT, many people notice meaningful improvement within 8 to 12 weekly sessions, though this depends on what you are working through. We set goals early and review progress as we go.
How do I start?
Send a message through the contact form, or call. The first consultation is a conversation about what is going on and whether working together makes sense.
