01 — Symptoms
Anxiety is not just stress. It is a persistent alarm system that can affect your thoughts, body, sleep, and relationships.
A sense of dread or nervousness that lingers, often about everyday situations, and feels hard to control.
Muscle tightness, restlessness, fatigue, headaches, or a racing heart that has no clear medical cause.
Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up already anxious about the day ahead.
Steering clear of places, people, or tasks because they trigger discomfort, which keeps anxiety alive.
Sudden episodes of intense fear, shortness of breath, dizziness, or a feeling of losing control.
A harsh inner voice that anticipates failure and never lets you feel that what you do is enough.
02 — Treatment approach
My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Interpersonal Psychotherapy, tailored to the way your anxiety shows up.
We start by mapping what triggers your anxiety and how it shows up in your body, thoughts, and behavior. Naming the pattern is the first step toward changing it.
Using CBT, we examine the catastrophic or self-critical thoughts that fuel worry and replace them with more accurate, flexible ways of thinking.
You will learn breathing, grounding, and exposure techniques you can use between sessions so progress continues in real life.
When anxiety is tied to communication, conflict, or isolation, interpersonal therapy helps you express needs, set boundaries, and feel more connected.
